Cultural advisor of Italian Embassy visits TMU


Cultural advisor of the Italian Embassy in Tehran, attended Tarbiat Modares University on October 11. In this visit, the development of academic relations between the two countries, and the potential for cooperation between the two sides were discussed.

Referring to his two-year activity in Iran, Vincenzo Russo Spena, the cultural advisor of the Italian Embassy in a meeting with Dr. Saeedi, Director of the International Scientific Cooperation Office and a number of university professors emphasized the great potential for cooperation between the two sides. He added: “One of the tasks of the cultural advisor is to establish an academic relationship with its host country. Therefore, the cultural advisor plays the coordinating role between the Iranian and Italian sides, and the universities of the two sides are the main interlocutors in the scientific interactions”.

Following this meeting, Dr. Ehsan Ranjbar, a faculty member of the faculty of art talked about a proposal entitled “School” jointly prepared by Italian colleagues and faculty members at the Department of Architecture.

In another part of this meeting, Dr. Khodadad Hosseini, while introducing the Faculty of Management and Economics of the University, emphasized the readiness of the faculty for scientific cooperation, and Dr. Hasanzadeh introduced TMU’s Science and Technology Park and expressed his willingness to cooperate with Italian companies.
