Health Education
Introduction

Health education and health promotion encompass the education and persuasion of individuals, society, and their organizations, empowering them to influence the factors that affect health. They facilitate the development of individual and societal tools that aid in preserving and promoting a healthy lifestyle, societal well-being, and quality of life. This field draws upon a broad spectrum of sciences, including behavioral sciences, social sciences, psychology, sociology, anthropology, media, communication, technology, new technologies, counseling education, and health and medical sciences.
At the Master's level, the field of health education and health promotion focuses on the development of professional skills in needs assessment and the analysis of individual, social, and organizational behavior. It also involves the planning, implementation, and evaluation of health education and health promotion interventions. During this stage, quantitative and qualitative research methods, determinants of health, counseling methods, and theories of studying and changing health behavior are employed across all policies and other health promotion strategies. This stage also includes the evaluation of evidence-based interventions and performance
